Obviously this is not the case in the sex trade, it is bought.
R. Reversible – This means you can change your mind at any point. Again, impossible in the sex industry.
I. Informed – The exact opposite is true of the sex industries. People aren’t just uninformed they are actively mis-informed of the harmful realities.
E. Enthusiastic – for the sex and the person you are with, not the money you need.
S. Specific – for specific sexual acts. You have no control over this in the sex trade, a punter is free to do what he wants.
This ‘FRIES’ definition of meaningful consent is widely taught in schools and recognised in law.
